About LurkMor

Built by someone who kept missing deals.

The story

It started with a truck. A clean, low-mileage truck at a fair price — gone within hours of being posted on Craigslist. By the time I found it, someone else had already made the call.

I started refreshing Craigslist manually. Multiple times a day. Searching the same keywords over and over, hoping something new had appeared. It worked, technically — but it was a miserable way to spend time.

I looked for a tool that would just watch and notify me. Most were clunky, required accounts, charged monthly fees, or only supported a single platform. Nothing felt right for the way I actually use these sites.

So I built LurkMor. It scans Craigslist and eBay on a regular schedule, compares new listings against what it already knows about, and sends you an alert only when something new appears. No account. No subscription. Just set your search and let it work.

What it does

LurkMor monitors Craigslist and eBay for new listings matching your keywords and location. When something new appears, you get an email (and soon, a text) with the listing title, price, and a direct link.

It baselines existing listings when you first set up an alert, so you don't get flooded with old results — only what's new since you started watching. You can set a price range, filter to title-only matches, and manage or cancel your alert at any time with a single click.

LurkMor is free to use. There's no account required. Your email address is only used to send you the alerts you asked for.
